The other day I let Lizzy stay up a bit longer before her nap than usual. This is what she said,
"Thank you for letting me stay awake." I said, "You're welcome." She said, "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to me. Thank you."
Lizzy and I were racing thru the mall the other night to see who could get to the doors of Sears first. After we made it to the front of Sears she stopped and said, "My feet hurt. I'm tired." So we stopped for a sec. Then she took off running again and yelled back to me, "I'm gonna beat you to the car!" She totally faked me out!
I told Lizzy she smelled like lotion and she asked, "The ocean?" You could hear the confusion in her voice. It was so cute!
Lizzy already recognizes a good joke opportunity when she sees one. I was in the shower and she snuck in and turned off the light! What a stinker!
Once I put a cup over a gross white cricket (EW! Creepy right? It was WHITE!) in our bathroom in the morning. I didn't tell Lizzy about it. Oops. She went in and picked up the cup and came running out of the bathroom yelling, "There's a spider in the bathroom! There's a spider in the bathroom! *sigh* That scared the crap out of me." She wouldn't use that bathroom for the rest of the day. It was so funny!
