With nothing else to do but wait...wait for Christmas, wait for family to come visit, wait for the baby, wait for dinner. Dave and i decided to break out of our routine and go to WalMart! Now, we do that when we get bored, but today we had a mission, we had to buy some very blonde hair dye! No, no, no, not for me, but for Dave! He has very dark hair! (I say black, he say's dark brown) Going blonde when your hair is that dark just doesn't work. After Dying it once, twice, and three times, his hair is now a bold, firey red-orange! The pictures don't really do it justice, but they will have to do for now.

Dave the genius
I just found out that Dave has passed (with flying colors) his huge, possibly life changing test for the Army! I myself had no doubts that he would do amazing, he on the other hand says he wasn't so sure about it. (I think he says things like that just to freak me out.) I am so stinking happy and proud of him! The picture above is from his Defense Language Institute graduation day. Doesn't he look so studly in his uniform? mmm hmmmm.....
After much nagging
After much naggin from friends and family to take a new pregnancy progression picture, I finally did it! Now, since I am not feeling my prettiest, to say the least, I am choosing the lesser of many evils. (translation: I took loads of pics and this one was the "best") What you are seeing is a picture of me when I was 5 weeks pregnant and what I look like at 35 1/2 weeks pregnant. I can't even wait to fit into my pre-pregnancy size. I say size and not clothes because I have every intention of going out and buying new clothes to celebrate! WOO HOO!!!

The afternoon in Bisbee
Last weekend Dave and I had nothing to do so we went to Bisbee on the recommendation of my Aunt Lenna, and it was great! It is such a cute little town tucked away in a tiny valley with very steep mountains on either side. The buildings are adorable and the shops are very "hippy-esque" for the lack of a better word. Then as we were walking down the street we saw a well known Bisbee resident! Do you know who it is yet? It was the Dog, Cat and Mouse man. As you can see he has a dog sleeping on the side walk, and on the dog...a cat! and on the cat, 2 MICE!! Can you believe it? Our first walk by I thought...."adorable", then I started thinking about it, mice aren't loyal pets, they'll run off on you the first chance they get! On our return walk past them to go home, nearly 45 mins later, they were all in the same spot, hadn't moved at all! The only explanation for such odd animal behavior is that the owner must drug them with the money people put in his hat! What do you think?

First Time Ever!

Hello to all who read this! (Hi mom! Hi dad!) Thanks for visiting our new blog spot. Since this is our first time ever we hope that this turns out like we plan. Some where, either above or below this text there should be a picture of our baby girl, (still in utero) . The first is when I was only 8 weeks along! (she pulled her legs up at the last minute, she really does have legs, not just nubs.) The later is when I was 21 weeks along! You can see her cute lil' profile and her body and her lil' legs, she is so stinking cute!
Now, a little bit about what's going on in our world....
Dave and I are living in Arizona for the next few months and the weather is usually quite warm, (i.e. 70's) and since we are expecting a baby withing the next 5 weeks or so, we won't be able to travel anywhere for Christmas! We will be experiencing our first green Christmas. Hope you all get to enjoy the holiday the way it's meant to be enjoyed, covered in snow!
