This is Dave. "About Lizzy"

Usually Flee does the posts, but i had a story to tell. I have been at Fort Lewis in Washington for about four weeks now. Lizzy has really been growing. I talk to her on the phone all of the time and also on the web-cam. She gets so excited on the web cam and kisses the screen and reaches for me to pick her up. It is really hard for me. One time while on the web cam, Doris (Flee's mom) walked in and Lizzy looked at her and pointed at me and she said "dada". She was showing me off. Flee also said that she picks up her phone and says "dada" all the time. A few days ago, i hung up after talking to Flee. A few minutes later i got a text message that said "Cc." Then i got one that said "Call." So i called i got two more blank ones right then too. The phone rang and then was answered, so i said, "Hey Flee, what did you want? Flee? Hello?" Then I Heard "dada?". Lizzy was trying to call me. The weird thing was that she texted "call" to me.
When i talk to her she says lots of words. I asked her what a cow says and she says "Moo." She says her name, Kitty, Birdie and a lot of things that you ask her to say. It is so hard seeing her develop so much and i am not there. She will be over two years old when i get back.

As if you didn't already know.

I could be an anchor lady for Fox Network! WOO HOO!

What American accent do you have? (Best version so far)

Northern

You have a Northern accent. That could either be the Chicago/Detroit/Cleveland/Buffalo accent (easily recognizable) or the Western New England accent that news networks go for.

Happenings

Lizzy is growing and developing so quickly! Sometimes I don't feel like I am ready for all the changes that are going on. But what can you do? She is really starting to get a sense of humor. The other day mom and I were at Sam's Club and Lizzy was sitting the the seat of the cart and stood up (as is the usual) and then she sat back down with both her legs in one leg hole. She thought it was so funny and started laughing then looked up at me to make sure that I noticed why she was laughing. It was so cute! It really is amazing watching them change and grow right before your eyes.

I took Lizzy outside to play in the snow yesterday. I thought she might actually like it. She was happy and excited to be getting her snow suit on, which is a first, all the other times I put it on her she would freak out. I was hopeful. I took her out and sat her in the snow. She whined for a second then seemed ok. She seemed a bit uncomfortable, but ok. I tried laying her on her back thinking it might be better for her. I was wrong.

The video is of Lizzy laughing and covering her mouth! Mom and I were trying to get Lizzy to walk on her own and we all just broke out into a laughing fit!

Here is the stinking funny video and cute pics. Enjoy!

March is Here!

Lizzy and I are back from Utah! It's good to be back. Dave left for Washington at the end of February. Lizzy and I are so excited to go to Seattle at the end of April to visit him. I have never been there before and am really looking forward to it. Then later this year (probably may or June-ish) We will be going out to Utah again, but this time to buy a house or a condo or a town home! WOO HOO!!!! I am so excited! I can't wait to see where we are going to live. But I do know that I am going to paint my laundry room a very pretty blue. At least I did in my dream! Isn't that so funny? I am such a freak. Who dreams about what color they want to paint their laundry room in the a house that they don't even own yet? Seriously.

Lizzy is getting so big and so smart. She talks ALL THE TIME! We love it. But it can make things difficult when I am on the phone and she keeps reaching for it yelling "DADA DADA DAAAAADDDDDDDDAAAAAA!!!!" Her hair is getting longer...in the back! Yup, my sweet little princess has a full on mullet. I was talking to Dave about the need to cut it, he suggested that I just let it continue to grow out. That it will just even out. HA! It will just grow into a longer mullet. I was finally able to hold her down long enough to put a "pony tail" on top of her head. It's so cute! I've always loved the ones that stick strait up.

Grandma and Grandpa G got Lizzy a music set and some bath toys for her birthday. She loves the music stuff. She is quite the drummer. I've always said my girl's got rhythm. The bath stuff on the other hand, she hates! She is so scared to sit down in the tub if she sees it any where near her! (Is it awful of me to find my daughters fears funny?)

I guess that's all for now.
