Winter Wonderland

It's officially winter up here. It's been snowing loads and we all love it! Lizzy has a bit of an issue with her coat though, She really doesn't like to put it on. Once on, she's OK, but the process of getting it on....whew! That can be quite a production. Lizzy is getting to be more like a little girl than a baby every day. (It's a bitter sweet experience...anyone who's a parent will understand.) She amazes everyone she meets! She is so smart and friendly. I am so proud of her! She is such a little squish. She loves to smile and wave to everyone she sees. Grandma Carol sent Lizzy some toys and stuffed animals a few weeks ago. Lizzy loves them all except one. It's a *purple haired fuzz ball that makes a "boing" sound when thrown.
*Video to follow.

Dave has been aching to build a snow cave. We finally have enough snow to make one. So we did. I say "we" when really I did nothing but lay on my back and look at the snow fall. I did, however, try to catch some on my tongue, unsuccessfully.

Benjamin hated his coat his first winter too. The first time we put it on him he was like the kid from Christmas Story with his arms sticking straight out. After I got it zipped he literally fell backwards stiff as a board. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Wished I had the video camera going.

She looks so cute in that coat. We are buying Kimmie one like that for our trip to Michigan over Christmas. I can't believe how much Lizzy has grown, she's such a big girl. I can't wait for her and Kimmie to meet:)

Oh my cute stars. What a QT!!! she is adorable. You guys are just like us with showing people how frighten our kids get with things. I find it really funny when kids have that kid of a reaction to them.
